Amateur Bachata Co-Ed Team

The Ferocity Dance Company amateur team is a hand picked competitive and performing group that travels Nationally and Internationally to compete in various competitions. The amateur team was formed in January of 2015 and has since competed at various prestigious competitions. This team doesn't just compete - of course they perform these routines at various Congresses, events and venues throughout the year! Inclusion to this team is by invitation only as all members are hand picked after undergoing an audition.
INTERESTED? Here's what we look for: An Amateur is defined as a student or person who does not make a living as a Dance Instructor, Performer, Dance Competitor or Dance Adjudicator and who never receives financial compensation for these activities. This team competes at the Amateur level in various International and National Dance Competitions in addition to performing at local and national Congresses and events. DANCE REQUIREMENTS - All follows must be able to do at least a half split on all three sides - All follows and leaders must have Medium to high level back flexibility - Dancers are required to adhere to some kind of weekly fitness regimen (to include cardio and weight training) as this routine and training can and will incorporate tricks) - Two to five years in dance experience, of which at least 50% must be focused in the Bachata / Salsa world - All follows must have clean double spins, working on triple spins - An openness to explore emotions in performance |
Amateur Bachata Ladies Team
Level 1 & Level 2
Current Ladies 1 Schedule: Saturdays, 1pm-3pm
Current Ladies 2 Schedule: Mondays, 8pm-10pm

The Ferocity Dance Company Ladies team is an Intermediate Level Performing team geared towards making dancers stronger and more technically proficient in areas that can help them in all dances.
Drills, dance and physical exercises, and choreography will be used to work on things such as spins, turns, flexibility, foot strength, styling, lead and follow, and more! Inclusion to this team is by auditions only and before the seasons begin. There is a twelve month minimum requirement to join INTERESTED? Show Team
Current Schedule: Mondays, 6pm-8pm

The Ferocity Dance Company Show team is an Intermediate Level Team made up primarily of student and amateur dancers. This team performs at local and National events at a variety of venues and Congresses.
