About Josué Fernandez

Josué Fernandez is a professional Bachata dancer of Argentinian and Bolivian descent. He has been Latin dancing since his childhood, partaking in family gatherings and parties, a passion that followed him into his adult life. His formal dance training started in 2016 and has fueled what is now a lifelong passion for the representation, teaching, and dancing of Bachata.

Josué formally joined the Ferocity Dance Company in 2019 in order to continue to cultivate his love of dance, training and of the performing arts. He has been a competitor, instructor and performer ever since. He travels with the Company, representing the DMV locally and Nationally at various Competitions, Congresses and Special Events and has won two world championship titles with the Company. 

Josué receives consistent training in Bachata and Salsa throughout the year to maintain as well versed and as well practiced in the genres as he can. He believes that one must always be a student, and he thoroughly enjoys learning so many different ideas and techniques for the styles of Bachata that exist. As an instructor, Josue aims to empower each student to discover and cultivate their unique talents, and he hopes to instill in them the confidence to pursue dancing in whatever way makes them happy. Josué hopes to foster a supportive and nurturing environment wherever he goes.
