The Holidays have passed, and we are here for a brand new year. The turning of a year always symbolizes and bring forth new opportunities and chances for us to refocus and reprioritize. But this time, we also must find time to appreciate everything that we as a collective nation, and world, went through last year. Most of 2020 was difficult on the good days, and intolerable on the worst, but even so we made it through together.
My prayers. love, and all the light I have to give are with those that did not make it to 2021, we shall honor their presence whenever possible as we continue to push forward in life, and in the pandemic which is very much still present. We officially began our new season last night, and it was wonderful to see people again! Our studio has been mostly empty for a large part of December due to Holiday quarantines and it felt like new energy and new light for a new year.
Please make sure to read on for information regarding our new mask requirements for being in our studio and our postponing group classes for another month due to the current spikes - we thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
Thank you to everyone that supported and trusted us during this most difficult 2020 year, it has meant the world to me. I am so thankful to have been able to remain open, to have had no COVID cases in my studio, and for your endless love and support whether in person, or virtually, that gave me the extra push to keep going that I needed on extra difficult days. Come what may, we will be here, operating as safely as we can. Keep slaying,
Kat Arias Owner, Director Ferocity Dance Company
Only KN95 masks or masks (with no air vents) that use separate filters will be permitted in the studio.
By far, joining Kat's bachata dance team has been my favorite activity I have discovered in the Washington DC (DMV) area. Kat Arias has built a dance community around her self that is founded on her vision of unity on the dance floor. The comraderie, fun atmosphere, supportive teammates, and most awesome of all: bachata skills workshops and different types of lesson she offers makes you grow into the bachatero/-a you were always meant to be!
